We’re excited to partner with Bowling Green Parks & Recreation, Warren County Parks & Recreation, and BikeWalk BG to serve kids and the community impacted by the tornadoes.

Please join us on Jan. 24th at 5 P.M. in our River Birch Room here at Lost River Cave. We will go through all of the steps needed to craft your own hiking sticks: picking out your stick, sanding it down, and, lastly, applying a coat of lacquer to make sure it can withstand the elements! We will provide all of the supplies, and hot chocolate, so no need to bring anything extra!

Groups with no child of driving age will need at least one parent/guardian to stay the entire time.

This will be an open house style event. Arrive anytime between 5 and 6:15 to get started. It will take 30-45 minutes to complete your hiking stick.

Please note that some of the stations will be outside, so make sure you are dressed for the weather.

The hiking sticks will be available to pick up from Lost River Cave mid-week, as the lacquer will need time to set. If you are unable to pick up, arrangements can be made.
