Want to learn about native plant identification?

Lost River Cave is a WildOnes partner and seeks your help at its first BioBlitz Inventory of the meadow on Saturday, August 13. This is an introductory training on how to conduct a BioBlitz inventory in which native plants are identified in a specific habitat. This training will focus on how to identify and inventory the plants within Lost River Cave’s meadow area.  The history of meadow habitats in KY as well as the LRC meadow restoration project will be shared.

This effort is suited for novice native plant enthusiasts to those with years of experience. A guide is being created that highlights plants likely to be found. Come and learn about native plants and how to identify them!

Train on Thursday (8/11), Blitz on Saturday (8/13)!
