Lace up and get ready for the 12th Annual Snow Flurry Scurry 5K on the new date of February 7th at Lost River Cave. It’s the most unique 5K in South Central Kentucky, featuring a scenic course alongside our prairie and an unforgettable celebration inside the cave. Run, walk, stroll, or even dance across the finish line. All proceeds support the park’s habitat restoration. Bring your friends and family for a fun winter tradition you will not forget. Lace up your shoes and join us in person on Saturday, February 7th at 9:00am.
Not able to make it? No worries! You can still join the fun by running virtually anytime between January 25th – February 6th. Hit the Snow Flurry Scurry course, submit your time online, and earn a cool T-shirt and medal. For all the details, check out the “Virtual Race” tab!

The paved race route will take you through the Greenways Trails at Lost River Cave, through the neighborhood of Shawnee, and will finish with a big celebration inside the Cavern Nite Club!
Participants may pick up their Snow Flurry Scurry T-Shirts, medals, and other run swag at the Lost River Cave Gift Shop starting Wednesday, February 4th through Friday, February 6th from 9:30am and 5:15pm.

Can’t make it on February 7? No worries! You can still join the fun by running the Lost River Cave course in advance and score your Snow Flurry Scurry swag.
Here’s how it works:
- Register online!
- Run the 3.1-mile Lost River Cave course anytime between January 25 – February 6. (Note: Virtual participants are not eligible for race awards.)
- Track your time with your favorite app or watch.
- Submit your results either in-person or online by 8:00 PM on February 6.
- Pick up your T-shirt and finisher medal at the Lost River Cave Gift Shop.

Packet Prep: Help assemble race packets (pizza included!) – CANCELLED

Refreshments: Help serve snacks and drinks at registration and the celebration in the Cave.
