We’re so excited to partner with Graves Gilbert Clinic to take the Health Walk to the next level with community walk events right here at Lost River Cave! Join us for our first 2026 group walk during Earth Week! It will be an evening of movement, fresh air, and connection on April 21, followed by seed bomb making and a fun community celebration at the Cave.
5:00pm: Arrive to mix, mingle, and play yard games | Meet at the back of the parking lot
5:30pm: Group health walk (three routes available – short loop, mile loop, stroller-friendly route) ending in a community celebration in the Cave
Pollinator Seed Bombs: Pollinator Seed Bombs are back! And we’ve added them to the festivities at the Graves Gilbert Clinic Health Walk. Join us for a community walk, then head to the cave with us to make your own seed bombs. Take them home and toss them to grow flowers that support butterflies, bees, and other essential pollinators!
Cave Fest: The all-new (free!) community Cave Fest will feature activities, meet-and-greets, and demonstrations from local organizations supporting healthy bodies, minds, and the environment—plus food and drinks for purchase from Trailside Treats and music to keep things festive.
Cave Fest Partners include: Graves Gilbert Clinic, SOKY Wild Ones, Farmer Willie, Very Good Tree Services, Re-Tree BG, The Crawford Hydrology Lab, Compost BG, You & I, BG Road Runners, BG Silent Book Club, KY Mesonet, Barren River District Health Department Mobile Clinic, United Healthcare Community Plan, Safeguard Insurance, Bright Coalition SUD Group, Humana, Stepstone Family & Youth Services
This is more than a walk: it’s a chance to connect with nature, your community, and your health ![]()
