Earth Week: Hidden Pollinators

Special Thanks To Our Program Sponsor: Warren County Conservation District

Join us for a buzz-worthy evening with John Zippay as he introduces Cellophane Bees of the Lost River Valley that dares to venture out in February, long before flowers have bloomed. In this engaging classroom program, you’ll discover why these fascinating native bees defy tradition by emerging from their nests during the coldest months.

Through captivating photos and videos, you’ll gain a behind-the-scenes look at their survival strategies and life in the scenic valley of Lost River Cave. This free program also includes an optional walk to explore their nesting spot in the park and get a closer look at these resilient pollinators’ habitat.
