Enjoy a guided hike through the collapsed cave valley with a local karst expert and learn about the various karst features you’ll encounter along the way! In partnership with WKU’s Crawford Hydrology Lab, this program focuses on how groundwater moves through limestone and the vulnerabilities of water sources in karst systems. Learn about the delicate balance of the region’s groundwater, the challenges it faces, and the forces that have shaped and continue to shape the valley.
