Special Thanks To Our Program Sponsor: Warren County Conservation District

Join Compost Bowling Green for a hands-on workshop that will turn your scraps into nutrient-rich soil! As part of Earth Week, this interactive session will teach you the basics of composting, including which items are compostable and how to build a simple backyard compost bin using off-the-shelf supplies.

What You’ll Learn:

  • Compostable vs. Non-Compostable Items – Participate in engaging demonstrations to better understand composting.
  • DIY Backyard Composting – Learn how to create your own compost bin using affordable materials.
  • The Science Behind Compost – Understand what’s happening in your pile and how to speed up the decomposition process.
